Dear Parents,
Wow! Can you believe there are only 13 school days left?! Everyone is thinking ahead to summer, but we still need to work hard during this final week and a ½ of grading. Please encourage your child put forth his/her best effort as there is no time for “make up” work with so few school days remaining. Please note below: "Friday, May 20th is the LAST DAY to turn in late or missing assignments" to count toward final grades. Finally, I just wanted to take a moment to wish all our FANTASTIC moms a “Happy Belated Mother’s Day!” I hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing day.
IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER :
May 12th –Final MAP TEST in LANGUAGE ARTS. Please go to bed early the night before, and eat a good breakfast that morning. Our test is first thing in the morning, so arrive on time!
May 13th –POETRY UNIT DUE (there was some confusion about the date, so please contact me if you need extra time)
May 16th – LAST DAY TO TURN IN BIOGRAPHY PROJECT
(Please note: The last day to PRESENT your speech is May 20th - be sure to sign up for a time/date)
May 18th – FINAL DAY FOR READING OLYMPICS AR TESTS or BOOK REPORTS!
MAY 20th: - ARIZONA PROJECT DUE & LAST DAY TO TURN IN ANY LATE or
MISSING WORK for PARTIAL CREDIT !!!
May 24th - READING OLYMPIC AWARD CEREMONY
